Are Your Omni Table Thoracic Pads or Omni Table Triangle's Wearing Out Faster Than the Rest of Your Cushions?

When your Omni Table thoracic (triangle) pads on your Omni Adjusting Table are wearing out before the other cushions, the main reason is your patients performing “push-ups” as they get on or off the Omni Table. This action puts excessive weight directly on the thoracic section (see attached image for location reference).

Correct Way to Get On and Off the Omni Table:

  1. Instruct the patient to sit directly over the central pillar of the Omni Table.
  2. Guide them to gently lower themselves onto their side, supporting their body, with hips and knees at 90 degrees.
  3. Once on their side, have them straighten their legs.
  4. From this position, the patient can roll face up or face down, based on your clinical preference.
  5. When getting off, reverse these steps: roll to the side, bend hips and knees to 90 degrees, then rise to a seated position.
  6. Reverse to Correctly Get Off the Omni Table

Key Benefit:
This technique prevents patients from doing push-ups or sit-ups when getting on or off the Omni Table. Using this method will dramatically extend the life of your thoracic pads and maintain your Omni Chiropractic Table’s integrity.

Standardized Patient Instructions Before Laying on Your Omni Adjusting Table

(Present at 1st & 4th Visits):

  • Remove items from pockets.
  • Loosen or remove belts to prevent table damage; wear baggy, non-restrictive clothing for optimal movement.
  • Allow the client to experience gravity relief by lying down on the Omni Table for at least 20 seconds before adjustment.
  • Begin each session with the patient lying prone; address questions only after the adjustment.

Tip to Optimize Your Clinical Patient Flow:
Utilize two or three Omni Tables with a T-bar divider. This setup allows you to work on one Omni Table while another client prepares on the adjacent table, increasing efficiency and minimizing equipment wear by rotating use of your Omni Chiropractic Tables.
